The New York Times held the first ever London TimesTalks in May 2014, featuring Golden Globe and Emmy Award-winning actors, Jeremy Piven and Damian Lewis.
In conversation with International New York Times culture editor Julie Bloom, Piven talked about his experiences shooting “Mr. Selfridge” in London, his theatrical background and his upcoming films “Sin City: A Dame to Kill For,” and “Entourage” the movie.
British actor Damian Lewis shared his stage and on-screen experiences with International New York Times theater critic Matt Wolf. Lewis discussed hit series “Homeland” and award winning miniseries “Band of Brothers,” as well as his numerous theatre credits. He also exclusively revealed that he will be appearing in “The Night of The Iguana” on Broadway in 2015.
We worked with the team at The International New York Times to deliver the event.
We recently brought our TimesTalks program to London and worked with Summerhouse Media to oversee and produce this important event with Damian Lewis and Jeremy Piven. We work out of the NYC office so it was important to partner with the right company. We made the right choice – the event was a great success and the program execution was flawless. It was a pleasure to work with Summerhouse Media and to know that our program was well in hand across the pond!.
