We work with the senior editorial team to produce the annual CEO summits on Africa and the UK. Both events are strictly by invitation-only from the Editor and are aimed at CEOs, Chairmen and senior government officials.
The Times CEO Summit: Africa focusses on trade, investment and growth across the continent. Keynote speakers have included the Presidents of Gabon, Rwanda, the Prime Minister of Zimbabwe, the Rt Hon Tony Blair, founder of the African Governance Initiative and former UK Prime Minister.
The Times CEO Summit focusses on the economy and business in the UK and has hosted keynote speakers including the UK Prime Minister David Cameron, The Chancellor of the Exchequer, George Osborne and the Mayor of London Boris Johnson.
Both summits are held at prestigious venues such as Kensington Palace and The Savoy, and sponsors have included Bank of America Merrill Lynch, the London Stock Exchange and Deloitte.
Summerhouse Media also worked with The Times to produce “Imprisoned in Iran”. The aim of the event was to raise awareness of the human rights abuse in Iran and to highlight the plight of those who are wrongly imprisoned and the terrible conditions they have to endure. Speakers included former prisoners, human rights lawyers, the Foreign Secretary William Hague and the comedian and actor Omid Djalili.
